Performance Medicine is a pioneering treatment centre conceived for professionals from the performing arts industry.
Their new Melbourne centre presented an opportunity to create a space which speaks to the concept of the stage and of performance, one where medical practitioners can provide a tailored recovery and rejuvenation experience specialised for the demanding needs of performing arts professionals.
Harnessing translucent mesh curtains, warm chalky tones, textural finishes and natural light, the industrial aesthetic of the concrete space was transformed into an environment which carries a sense of drama, while at the same time remains immediately calm and therapeutic.
