Mostaghim Architects is a Sydney based practice recognised for its work across boutique hospitality, hotel, and residential developments. The studio's work rests on an understanding that design is fundamentally related to site and context, function and purpose.
With a growing team and new large-scale commissions, they required their brand to better reflect the calibre of their work and future ambitions. The project commenced with the refining of the studio name from Mostaghim & Associates, to Mostaghim – as a purer expression.
The new identity was inspired by the principle of the architect being 'behind the work', not in front of it. It integrates a floating volume which sits upon a single initial, in multiple configurations, masking volumes of different widths and heights. The project included the identity design, collateral and website refinements.
